Beginner Class - Lesson 4 - March 23

Scottish Dancing Pro Tip: Phrasing! Time the reels just right. Use the long cast to take the right amount of time, etc

9-12 1s+2s circle 4H round to left,
13-16 1s turn 2H as 2s step up & all set in line of 4 with 1s advancing to pass each other LSh
17-24 1s+2s dance reel of 4 across
25-28 All set, turn RH on Ladies side & LH on Mens side (1s in and up) to end with 1s in 2nd place, 1s dance ½ fig of 8 up around 2s to progressed place

Note: Reeling in the Annex turned out to be a harder dance than we expected. During bars 9-16, there is nothing for new dancers to hold onto and no chance for recovery. Would work well with adjustment of this portion.
